Two responsibilities, one workspace
The Owner & doctor role combines clinic administration with clinical work. It gives the same person access to settings, staff and billing as well as consultation notes, prescriptions and report release. The Owner role remains available for people who manage the practice without seeing patients.
Choose your role when starting
On the clinic application, select “I also practise at this clinic”. Once the application is approved, Aariva creates an Owner & doctor membership and a linked doctor profile. Set working hours before making appointment slots available.
Already an owner?
Open Settings, then Doctors & hours. Choose “I also practise here”, enter your professional details, and enable Owner & doctor. The change applies to your account in that clinic. You do not need to invite yourself to a second account.
Know who can sign off
Finalising a clinical record and releasing a report remain clinician actions. Giving extra permissions to reception does not grant either action. Clinic owners should assign the combined role only to people who both administer the clinic and practise there.
