Open the consultation

Start from the patient’s visit. Review the patient identity, allergies, existing medicines and observations before writing.

An Owner & doctor account has the same clinical tools as a doctor. Administrative owners do not automatically have them.

Save your note and prescription

Enter the consultation note and save the draft while working. Add medicines with the intended strength, dose, frequency, route and duration. Put medicine-specific directions in Medicine instructions, and use the arrows to change the order before finalising.

Review every entry before finalising. Aariva stores what the clinician enters; it does not diagnose or decide treatment.

Finalise and correct

Finalising preserves the signed record. To correct a finalised note, add an amendment explaining the change; the original remains in the history.

Finalising a prescription saves the advice with it. Use Print prescription, Download PDF or Share PDF; preview and check the patient and clinician details first. Repeat prints reuse the prepared PDF. Sign the printed prescription by hand.

Only clinician roles can finalise clinical records and release documents. Extra permissions for reception do not grant those capabilities.

Set up prescription printing

An owner can open Settings → Clinic details → Prescription stationery to choose a default A4 or A5 sheet, upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP logo, choose its position, and enter a header note and footer. Clinic contact details and the doctor’s qualifications and registration number appear automatically.

You can select another paper size when printing. Match the printer paper and use 100% scale. PDF downloads contain only the prescription. Device sharing uses your system share menu; if unavailable, the PDF downloads instead.
